Get to Know You

The initial discovery call will give us an overview of what your project is – and if we are a good fit to proceed.

The Consultation

All projects begin with a 2 hr. In home consultation.  I come to your home, we meet each other, and we discuss your plans for your space.  We’ll talk about the scope of your project, your timeline, and your budget.  You will receive a follow up PDF document of our meeting – and decide how you want to proceed with my services.

Design Service & Letter of Agreement

Should you decide to move forward with my Design Services, I then send you a Letter of Agreement that outlines my Design Fees, Payment Schedule and the Scope of Work.

Design Phase

This is the beginning stage of the Design Phase.  Sketches, floor plans and mock ups are created.  I send electronic Design Inspiration Boards that will guide and direct the aesthetic of your project.  The boards are based on various components of your project which help provide visual interpretation.

I provide 1-3 options and often a WILD CARD!  Upon approval, I source all furniture, textiles, lighting, finishes etc., order samples and request estimates or quotes on any custom work.   During the Design Phase, it is fluid, and takes some time to research and source items.  It’s also important to note that this phase is meant to be both fun and collaborative.  You bring your questions, and I bring inspiration and ideas.

Refining Design

When all the decisions are made and selections approved, you are off the hook!  I handle all the specifications, the ordering, tracking, receiving, delivery schedules and installations.

Finishing Up

After all the deliveries are made, then it’s time to put all the details in place.  Your carefully curated, layered and bespoke space is complete.  This includes me coming to style your space.  The reveal and install day is probably the most exciting and fun part!  I ask that you step out while we create the magic.  When you come back, a big TA-DA awaits!

A detailed list of home decor objets will be available to purchase, as I am often sourcing extra pieces that give it that extra special touch!

Post Project

Professional Photography- is sometimes scheduled for Install Day.  Professional photos are part of the Letter of Agreement, and ensures a level of professionalism on your completed project – AND allows the Designer to capture work for their portfolio.

Feedback forms are sent out, and are vital for improving service.

Reviews and Referrals- as a small business owner, reviews and referrals are critical to our business.  It’s very much appreciated on Google!
