Hey Guys! Are you starting to feel a little lighter in your step? Have you heard the birds chirping? Noticed the longer days? Oh yeah- Spring is on its way. Second to Fall, Spring is my favourite season! I think we all love it- warmer days, new growth, greenery and a time to refresh. Doesn’t this feel breezy and fresh? White on white, green on white, light woods, light textural components- ahh!
Botanicals
Uplifting and fresh and can be used in bedding, headboards and wall decor. Botanical prints grouped together lend a nostalgic feel and are not overtly stuff or feminine. Using reflective surfaces and sheen help create the illusion of more light, and capture the increasing longer days.
Art prints, florals, jute rugs and shades of green signify the onset of Spring. This bed, though!
Just look at the greens!
Pink
A go-to Spring colour, as well.
I don’t know about you, but changing out the bed linens is one of the best ways to bring in a touch of Spring. Just keep a few extra throws or toppers close by if the nights are still cold…

Layering
Soft pastels, layers of textures, and textiles create a fresh and welcome space.
Think Details…
Fresh florals, gold accents, and details like nailhead trim bring the eye in, and soften the view.
Think about bolder use of colour, and add contrasting hues in materials. Unexpected!
A little wood wouldn’t hurt!
Equally satisfying in mixing wood tones, like unfinished and raw wood. Golden hues can blend more rustic wood elements. And when you want a touch of history or to layer in some old world charm, vintage art and decor are definitely on trend- and bring in rich, and textured vibes to your spaces!
