Hey friends!  I’m really excited to drop the latest pics of my recent design project.  I want to share some of the details because this project came together so well!  My client, a busy, #wfh professional, balances life, kids, schedules, pets etc.  She is like a lot of us these days…  She knew the time was right to create space for herself.  What comes next is an intentional, reflective space for her work as a Medium.  Everyone needs zen vibes like this Master Retreat!

The Master Bedroom has tons of natural light, a vaulted ceiling, and creative storage solutions.  To create zen, minus the tired and neutral.  Bring in calm.  This space is used 24/7 for work, rest and meditation.  Look at what a difference this design makes!

Can I just point out the beautiful colour on the walls?!  Creating a palette of soft undertones of purple spoke to my client, mirrored her brand, and became the impetus for a whole house refresh!  Seriously- let’s talk purple!  Purple is associated with creativity, sensitivity, and it opens our intuitive side.  It is also known for creating a harmonious balance of peace and awareness.  Sooo my client!

I was keen to tap into her feminine nature, bring in lots of sparkle, glitter and play off of the vast collection of crystals that my client uses in her work.

Colour influences many aspects of our life, and it is important to pay homage to our preferences.  Purple is used here for work, rest and play!  Feeling zen right now?

Light adds warmth, ambience, balance and function to areas that may be overlooked.

In this case, we added extra lighting with a gorgeous, blingy chandelier, task lighting on dresser, and swing arm lighting beside the bed.

Texture draws you in, adds comfort or contrast and is visually stimulating.  The design of this gorgeous resin and crystal artwork is a sinuous play on texture, colour and light.  It is infused with sweeping lines, dreamy colours, and is a meditative backdrop for my client.  Texture is also in the soft textiles on the bedding, meditation chair, and office chair that were added.
