My love for design started early — decorating my own room as a child, with Barbies as my first “clients.” Those early experiments sparked a lifelong passion for creating beautiful, meaningful spaces.
Having travelled to over 60 countries, I draw inspiration from architecture, culture, patterns and colours I’ve encountered along the way. Whether it’s the intricate details of European buildings or the quiet beauty of nature back home in Vancouver, these influences shape the spaces I design today.
At Melissa Hardwick Design, I’m especially passionate about older homes. I love bringing out their unique qualities, blending antique and vintage pieces with carefully curated new elements. This approach results in timeless interiors that feel both rooted in history and perfectly modern.
